More Details

If the walls on your vertical auger housing are worn paper-thin, our liner will fix the problem. We know this fits 7120 and 8010 models, and possibly others. The way it works is you slide the auger liner inside the old shell and weld it in place. All the openings and bolt holes will match, so you get a heavier than original liner for a very economical price.

More detailed instructions are as follows:

  1. Disassemble the housing and remove the auger.
  2. Slide the Mad Dog auger liner in place and check for fit and alignment of holes and openings.
  3. We like to plug weld the liner in place, so you will need to mark places where you will drill holes in the liner. Choose places where you might have gaps, so you can clamp or wedge the liner in place to eliminate the gap and then plug weld it in place. You can see from the pictures how this has been done. Then slide it back out and drill the holes for the plug welds.
Slide it in place, clamp or wedge the liner to get it eliminate gaps and weld in place.
